Bond designed the interior of Mumin Kaffe with the aim to not only make the café a tempting place for kids of all ages, but to also create an ambience that adults could enjoy as well. 

The design language is inspired by elements from the Moomin illustrations; the panelling of the counter resembles the Moomin house and the backrests of the green sofas mirror the Lonely Mountains. The Moomin characters themselves are not the main focus within the space, but are used instead as playful details throughout the interior.
